Nancy from AccountRight has been using Work Smarter, Not Harder as her tagline but realised that this was outdated and overused. She hadn’t been attracting her ideal client. Instead finding that she is working more with sole traders who don’t appreciate the service and abuse her when they don’t get the refund, they think they deserve.
She wants to move towards medium sized businesses and take on a more CFO role to combine her advisory and consulting expertise. She feels this new direction is more fulfilling and her services more appreciated.

The PROJECT
We started with the brief and intensive brand and ideal customer questionnaire. Nancy was taken back by how many questions were asked but found the exercise valuable. It helped her gain crystal clear vision of who she wants to work with and how good that feels.
The morning of her VIP Day, we joined brains for a 90-minute brainstorming session before I got to work in the background. After a few back WhatsApp voice messages, I had everything I needed to rewrite the home page of her website and research taglines.
Taglines are never as easy as they seem. They involve research to check for overused buzzwords, competitor usage, and any trademarks.
After 4.5 hours of intense writing, we jumped back onto a zoom call to go over the home page and discuss the different tagline options.
Within 24 hours Nancy had her words uploaded on to her website, her new tagline on her business cards, and more confidence in her business.
